Cafe accessibility

Woodruffs is located in a small and old building never designed to be a café and so to be honest, it’s not the best for easy access. However, we will of course do our best to help – here is some information:

Access to the cafe from Church Street car park is more or less flat if you park at the bottom end of the car park. There is also Blue Badge parking around Union Street and Threadneedle Street.

There are some downstairs tables. Space is very limited for wheelchairs, though we have managed it before. We would suggest avoiding Saturday mornings when there are so many people about.
Other tables are upstairs with a handrail but with a U-turn half-way up.
There are also outside tables.

The downstairs toilet is too narrow to fit a wheelchair – it’s only possible to get one to the door. Unfortunately we cannot change the layout.
